This Privacy Policy explains how Meet My Table collects, uses, and shares information when you use our sites and services. It applies to meetmytable.com and the web app at my.meetmytable.com.
1) Information we collect
Hosts (account holders)
If you create a host account, we collect information such as your email address and authentication-related data needed to operate the account.
Event data
Hosts upload guest list information to run the event experience. This may include guest names, table numbers, and optional fields like meal choice or party size.
Guest usage
Guests do not need an account to search their name. Guests generally provide only what’s needed to perform a lookup (for example, searching by name).
Photo gallery uploads (if enabled)
If the host enables the photo gallery feature, guests may upload photos. Photo gallery access can be protected by a PIN (paid plans).
2) Cookies
We use cookies necessary to operate the Service. Host sessions may use HTTP-only cookies. We do not use tracking pixels as part of the core product experience.
3) How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide and maintain the Service (guest lookups, event pages, admin tools).
- Enable account access and security (email verification, password resets).
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues.
- Improve reliability, performance, and usability.
4) Sharing of information
We may share information:
- With guests: guests can view event information the host chooses to display (e.g., table assignment, optional meal choice, optional full guest list page).
- With service providers: vendors that help operate the Service (such as hosting, email delivery, or payments) may process data on our behalf.
- For legal reasons: if required to comply with law or protect rights and safety.
5) Data retention
Events are automatically deleted after a retention window based on your plan. Hosts can also delete their events manually.
6) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7) Your choices
Hosts can update or delete event data. Hosts can delete their account from the account settings. Or by contacting support
8) Children’s privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest version.
