Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of Meet My Table (including the marketing site at meetmytable.com and the web app at my.meetmytable.com). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1) Who we are
Meet My Table ("we", "us") provides a web app that lets event guests find their table assignment by scanning a QR code and searching their name.
Contact email: support@meetmytable.com
2) The Service
Hosts can create events, upload guest lists (e.g., via CSV), customize the guest page, and share a QR code or event link. Guests do not need an account to use the guest lookup experience.
3) Eligibility and accounts
Host accounts require a verified email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4) Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes attempting to access the Service in an unauthorized way, interfering with normal operation, or uploading content you do not have rights to use.
5) Event data and retention
The Service stores event data needed to operate the guest lookup experience (such as guest names and table numbers). Events are automatically deleted after a retention window based on your plan. You can also delete your event manually.
6) Photo gallery (if enabled)
If a host enables the photo gallery feature, guests may upload photos to the event gallery. Hosts are responsible for ensuring they have permission to collect and share event photos.
7) Payments and upgrades
Paid plans are one-time payments (not subscriptions). Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. If you purchase a paid plan, you agree to provide accurate payment information and to pay any applicable fees.
8) Intellectual property
The Service, including its design and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You retain rights to content you upload, but you grant us the limited rights necessary to host and display it as part of the Service.
9) Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Service will be error-free.
10) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service during the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the claim (or $0 if you have not paid).
11) Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or used the Service in a harmful or unlawful way.
12) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest version.
13) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
