01

No design software required

Add round or rectangular tables with chairs, drag them into place, and resize or rotate until the room feels right. Touch-friendly controls work on desktop and phone.

02

A draft until you say publish

Your layout autosaves privately while you work. Guests see nothing until you choose Publish to guests—and an uploaded floor plan stays available the whole time.

03

Tables connect to your guest list

Label each table to match your seating assignments. When a guest’s table matches exactly one labeled table, they can tap their table number to see it highlighted on the map.

Simple by design

Sketch the room instead of learning a CAD tool

The floor plan designer is a focused guest locator, not seat-level assignment software. Drop in the pieces of your reception—tables with decorative chairs, the dance floor, stage, bars, and entrance—then arrange them to match the venue. A guided tutorial and help tips walk you through the first design.

  • Round and rectangular tables with adjustable chairs
  • Stage, dance floor, bar, and entrance landmarks
  • Move, resize, rotate, and duplicate objects
  • Touch-friendly editing on desktop or phone
Publish when ready

A private draft for you, a polished map for guests

Every change autosaves to a draft that guests can never see. When the layout is ready, Publish to guests makes it the live floor plan for your event. You can republish improvements anytime, and hosts choose whether guests see the designed map or an uploaded floor plan image or PDF.

  • Autosaved drafts that guests never see
  • A separate Publish to guests step
  • Choose the designed map or an uploaded file
  • Uploaded floor plans remain available

Guests go from their name to their spot on the map

Label each table to match the assignments in your guest list—"5" and "Table 5" are treated as the same table. When a guest finds their name in Find your table, their table number becomes a tappable link that opens the map centered on their highlighted table. If their table is not on the published design, the number simply displays as usual—no guessing, no wrong directions.

  • Tap-to-locate links from Find your table
  • Flexible label matching ("Table 5" = "5")
  • Centered, highlighted table on the guest map
  • Unmapped tables keep their plain number
Common questions

Helpful answers before you begin

Meet My Table is designed to be clear for hosts and nearly effortless for guests.

Is the floor plan designer a seating-assignment tool?

No. Your guest list holds the table assignments. The designer shows where those tables sit in the room. Label each table to match your guest list, and guests get a visual answer to "where is my table?"

When do guests see my designed map?

Only after you publish. Your work autosaves to a private draft, and Publish to guests makes it live. You can republish anytime, and you can switch guests back to an uploaded floor plan whenever you like.

What happens if a guest’s table is not on the map?

They see their table number as usual, without a map link. The tap-to-locate link appears only when their assignment matches exactly one labeled table on the published design, so no one is sent to the wrong spot.

Can I still use an uploaded floor plan?

Yes. Uploaded images and PDFs remain available. On the Floor Layout page you choose what guests see: your uploaded file or the published designed map.
